I am a Los Angeles-based writer, passionate about compelling stories, thoughtful messaging, creative collaboration and a perfectly place comma. I’m particularly fond of helping organizations or socially conscious companies share their philosophy and mission.
Whether it’s website copy, a personal essay, a blog, creative non-fiction or otherwise, I believe writing can empower, intrigue, educate and connect. My professional interests include small businesses and start ups, sustainability, food security, slow fashion, conscious design, arts and culture, travel and hospitality.
I currently work as a Content Specialist with the the Phoenix-based PR firm Aker Ink, a small but mighty team of media, marketing and PR professionals who value hard work, a keen eye for detail and innovation.
At Aker Ink, I’m responsible for most of the written content, including blogs, website copy, ghostwritten articles, some social media copy and content campaign ideation, development and execution.
I have years of experience as a freelance journalist, working for numerous publications across the Southwest. I also established and managed blogs for up-and-coming businesses.
My writing career truly began as an undergraduate at Northern Arizona University, where I served as the Culture section editor for the student-led newspaper, The Lumberjack.
